gimMe Roasted Seaweed Snacks Review

gimMe Organic Seaweed Snacks

I received complimentary gimMe Organic Seaweed Snacks for the purpose of this review.  I love discovering new snacks, especially when they are organic and Non-GMO verified.  Seaweed snacks are easily devoured in my home.  My 14 month old enjoyed munching on them too.

gimMe Health Foods is owned by Annie Chun and her husband Steve Broad.  You may recognize Annie Chun food products in your grocery store already.  The name stems from gim which means seaweed in Korean.  The seaweed comes from Jang Heung Bay, a region of Korea's Yellow Sea.

The Sesame and Sea Salt Roasted Seaweed Snacks were perfect.  Sharing them with my daughter both times...well, I'm sure I ate most of it.  The sesame had a nice, light flavor and the sea salt had the right amount of salt.  Let's just say once you have one sheet, you will want them all.

gimMe also has Roasted Seaweed Snacks in Crumbles.  You can eat them as a snack or use them as a topping.  My husband used them as a topping for his rice.

Rice, Chicken, and gimMe Seaweed Crumbles

The crumbles come in Cheddar Cheese, Honey Dijon, Sesame, and Teriyaki.  We tried the Sesame, Cheddar Cheese, and Honey Dijon crumbles.  I liked the Sesame the best.  My husband liked the Sesame the best too.  The other flavors are fun to munch on also.  I know we will be buying these in the future.

Kidz Gear Headphones Review

Kidz Gear in Orange

I received a complimentary Kidz Gear Headphones for the purpose of this review.  I was really excited to have my son try out these headphones.  They have so many great features and are made very well.  There are times I have bought kid items and the quality wasn't so great.  Kidz Gear makes quality headphones that are durable.  My children are rough on technology.  We need items that can last a while and won't break easily.

Product Features:
-Free Kidz Control Volume Limit Cable
-Built in Volume Knob
-Custom designed for children 2 years and older
-Lightweight and comfortable

Add on products:
-Kidz Gear Headphone Carry Bag ($5.99 online price)
-Stereo Headphone splitter cable ($5.99 online price)

The add on products are worth it.  The splitter cable is neat because you can sit and listen with your child at the same time.  The carry bag is the perfect size and will keep the headphones from getting damaged and lost.  We easily lose things in this apartment.  The colors are fun for the kids. The headphones are $19.99, which I find is a reasonable price.

Go and check out the Kidz Gear website.  You can also follow them on Facebook.

Do your kids have their own headphones?  What do they like to watch or play?

Easy Canvas Prints Review & Giveaway

Canvas

*Disclosure-I received a complimentary 8x10 Canvas Print for the purpose of this review.*

8x10 Easy Canvas Print

I was excited to get my Easy Canvas Print in the mail the other day.  It is really cute.  What a cool concept, right?  Putting your favorite photos on a canvas and then hanging them up on your walls for everyone to see.
It took me a while to find the right picture.  I wanted one of my two kids but my son was making silly faces in all of them.

This is a closer shot of the canvas print hanging on our wall.  My son looks quite goofy.
If I were to recommend a size to buy, it would be the 11x14.  The 8x10 makes a good gifting size.  I think my husband is going to take it to work with him and hang it in his office.

The process is very simple.
1) Select a canvas size.
2) Select canvas wrap thickness
3) Upload image.  The great part about this is it will tell you if you need to upload a better photo.  Check image quality will let you know if it is a poor, fair, or good photo.  You can also pick a photo from Facebook or Instagram.  I think that is pretty neat too.
4) Next you get to pick your style.  Which includes display and border options.

My image wrapped around the canvas.  The quality of the canvas is nice too.  Just be careful when laying it down on top of anything.  The stretched canvas area is fragile. Next time around, I think I will get a 11x14 size and try an Instagram photo upload.  Maybe a photo with flowers or something nature related.  Easy Canvas Prints is such a great idea for a gift for the grandparents.  I think my mom would love one of these.

Easy Canvas Prints also was kind enough to run a giveaway. The giveaway is from 8/19/2013-9/2/2013 and is open to North America Only.  Easy Canvas Prints will be sending the winner their prize.

Breakfast For Dinner

Waffles

Waffles for dinner!  Why not?  It is super easy to make and versatile.  Waffles are good with a lot of different things.  I used this recipe as my starter and you can always play around with more sugar or different extracts.  I don't make them the full size because I like the way the edges look.

What are some fun waffle combos?
-Nutella & Waffles
-Ice Cream on top of waffles
-Waffles with syrup & butter
-Waffles & Fried Chicken
-Waffles with sausage and/or bacon

And that list can go on and on.  Why else do I like making waffles for dinner?  Saves money.  The ingredients are things that I like to keep stocked in my kitchen.  Flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs have so many uses.  I think the most expensive item on that list may be vanilla extract.

Flowers Make People Happy

Lilies

Most women I know like receiving flowers for any occasion.  I think Valentine's Day and Anniversary's are the most popular flower times for women to get flowers from a loved one.  Lilies and roses are two of my favorite flowers.  Orchids are pretty but I cannot keep them alive.  I've been cursed with a black thumb.

My daughter with a white rose

On my daughter's first Valentine's Day she received a rose from her Daddy.  Which I found really sweet.  I remember as a little girl always getting chocolates and cards from my Dad on Valentine's Day.  I find flowers can connect us with pleasant memories that we have had.  They can also connect us with sad memories as well.  Some people send flowers to family or friends who are ill and in the hospital.  I think most of the time, flowers make us happy.

Flowers I got for Mother's Day

Another great holiday to give flowers is Mother's Day.  I think most Mom's enjoy getting plants or flowers from their husbands or children.  I find that ordering flowers online is easy and helpful, since my mother lives in North Carolina.  I send her gifts or flowers through the internet.

If you need to find  New York florists in the area Findaflorist.com can make it easy to locate a flower shop.  They have a network of over 20,000 florists who have met and exceeded quality standards.  If you are not in the New York area you can type in your zip code to find local florists.  Some florists near me offer free shipping to local hospitals.  Next holiday I will be using this website to send flowers to family.

Do you enjoy getting or giving flowers as gifts?  What is your favorite flower to receive?
