Keeping Busy During the Coronavirus

crepes

During this crazy time of being inside during the Coronavirus, we have been cooking more.
I have been trying to make new recipes and try out new things.
My favorite hobby is crochet, so I usually do that. I don't mind baking or trying new treats.
I think we all like the crepes. You can add butter or powdered sugar. Add fruits or Nutella.

What have you been doing to stay busy? Does your state have a stay at home order.

We are in the state of New York. So right now we have no school until April 15th. This should be very interesting. Teachers are amazing, they can get my kids to do work.

Have you been getting stir crazy?

Do you have favorite food recipes?

Let me know in the comments.

Family Of Five

Nia and Sadie

I was on a short break recently. We welcomed our third child into the world. We are now a family of 5. I never thought I would have 3 kids. All beautiful and special in their own way. We are all very happy to have Sadie in our family. I can't wait to see how the two girls will be with each other.
When I was growing up I wanted a big sister so bad.

Baby Feet

I had Nia 4 years ago, so I forgot how tiny babies can be. I'm going to enjoy these few months of baby time, when things are more calm. My 4 yr old and soon to be 8 yr old are both quite energetic. They are both strong willed and challenging. It's funny how we think one age is harder than another but each stage is a different kind of challenge. Parenting is an adventure and a learning experience.

Are you a parent? If so, what has been most challenging to you? What has been the most fun?

Oh Baby, It's Cold Outside

Two weekends this month we went to West Meadow Beach.  The first time we bundled my daughter up and used the Baby Bjorn to carry her around.  It was very cold out.  My son loves going to the beach despite what the weather is like.  Getting him to leave can become quite a difficult task.  The second time we went the temperature was warmer but still not quite "beach" weather.  I've bought new flip flops and am ready for the sunshine.
