Hello Kitty StoryGIF Advent Calendar

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty is putting a new digital spin on the Advent Calendar with the Hello Kitty StoryGIF Advent Calendar by Zoobe Messenger Entertainment. This special countdown to Christmas runs from December 1st to 25th. Hello Kitty fans can unlock an adorable free GIF each day they come back. (Or purchase all 25 at once.)  The app will be available in apps stores on November 30, 2016 - on iOS $.99 and Android $.79.

The Advent Calendar is a Christmas tradition that has been around since the early 1900’s that acts as a special countdown the big day with 24-25 doors or windows with chocolate or other special little surprises when opened each day leading up to Christmas.  The Hello Kitty Advent Calendar is a digital experience that gives fans the same effect via their mobile phones with a new cute image to collect each day to express themselves, spread the holiday cheer and message to friends. Super cute. Super easy to use.

The GIF app is pretty cool. I have it on my android phone. You can pick a few GIF's and put them together. Then you can send it to a friend. I tried one and sent it to my hubby via messenger. I think this could get pretty addicting. I'm a huge fan of Hello Kitty and anything Sanrio. Cute things are often called "Kawaii" in Japan.  I showed my 4 year old this fun app and she thought it was great. She loves Hello Kitty too!

Swordigo By Touch Foo

Swordigo is a side scrolling game you can play on your phone. I have a Samsung S7, so I go to Google Play to download games.

I recently found this game and thought it was cute. Run, Jump, and fight. It reminds me of games I would play as a kid.

I also have a YouTube channel. Yes, I am a total noob. It's a learning experience.

Do you have fun games or apps you play on your phone? Let me know in the comments.

Whole Foods App for Phone

Whole Foods App

I recently came across this app. Any coupon for Whole Foods is great to me. It can be pretty expensive if you do your whole grocery shopping there. Sometimes we joke about "Whole Check".

I like the produce section and the bakery area the best.

This app is available for iPhone and android.

If you like traditional coupons you can still pick up their flyer or print them out from the Whole Foods website.

Do you shop at Whole Foods?

Clumsy Ninja App on Android

My son and I enjoy playing this app called Clumsy Ninja. You can find it in the Google Play Store and I'm pretty sure they have it for Apple too.

You can take funny photos of your ninja in motion. There is even a cute feature that will let you take a photo of you and your ninja together.

It is set up like most games where you level up by completing tasks. Of course, there are extra things you can purchase with real money but I don't let my son do that.

Overall, I would recommend this app. My son is 6 now and has been playing it for a while. My phone's photo gallery seems to keep filling up with the ninja.

What are some of your favorite apps?

Apparoo App of the Week: Manilla

It retrieves and organizes household bills, bank, credit card and healthcare accounts, travel rewards – even offline accounts like rent or babysitters. Manilla App

I think I need this app pronto.  I will be the first to admit that my organizational skills need a lot of improvement. We have lost mail in drawers or under piles of paper work before.  I like how this app can help me and remind me when bills are due.

Do you think Manilla can help you?  Let me know if you download it.
